PlateSmart Presents at UASI Event
The Miami-Ft. Lauderdale Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) is a Homeland Security Grant Program comprised of Police-Fire-Emergency Management agencies in Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County. The mission statement of UASI is to enhance regional preparedness in major metropolitan areas throughout the United States. It directly supports expanding regional collaboration and is meant to assist participants in their creation of regional systems for prevention, protection, response, and recovery.
The purpose of this event was to address the drain on budgets to sustain the increasing annual costs associated with a growing regional ALPR system. PlateSmart had the privilege to present their unique ALPR solutions to 40 law enforcement agencies present at the event.

Introducing ARES INSIGHTS!
